‘Startling’ Amount of Stimulus Guidance to Be Released Soon

Washington, June 18 — As many as six major pieces of guidance related to education stimulus funds are expected to be released in a flurry of activity in the coming weeks, officials said Thursday.

"The amount that's in the queue, that's geared to come out in the next weeks, is quite startling," said Joe Conaty, a veteran U.S. Department of Education (ED) staffer who is serving as acting secretary of elementary and secondary education.
