Feds Urge States to Comply with Education Funding Rules
WASHINGTON, April 16 — The U.S. Department of Education (ED) this month sent a letter to states urging them to comply with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s (ARRA’s) maintenance-of-effort (MOE) requirements or risk being disqualified from the Race to the Top (RTT) program and refused their share of the second and final chunk of stabilization funds.
