Funding Is Available for Enhanced Assessment Instruments
WASHINGTON, April 13 — More than $10.7 million is available for enhancing the quality and validity of state student achievement and assessment instruments, the U.S. Department of Education announced today. This money is in addition to $350 million in new funding now available for states to craft a “new generation” of tests to measure student academic progress.
