Lawmaker’s Move on Education Jobs Draws Veto Threat


WASHINGTON, July 2 — The House approved a supplemental bill last night that would shift some of the money slated for education reform programs funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to pay for a $10 billion education jobs fund, prompting a veto threat from the White House.
