Teachers’ Campaign Spotlights Need for Education Jobs Funding
WASHINGTON, May 26 — The heads of the major teachers’ associations joined key members of Congress and the Obama administration today on Capitol Hill to launch a new “Speak Up for Education & Kids” campaign designed to rally support for passing $23 billion in emergency funding to preserve local education jobs.
